Yes. Yesyesyes. (We need some real drums in the beginning, though they’re quite nice at the second half, my only sonic cricism.) For the title, I like “electronic” or something a little more… hmmm… maybe mechanical or non-human. I think that juxtaposition of something so distinctly human, “bliss,” with something so absolutely machine like “electronic” or something that really makes us picture circuit boards and that sort of thing would be very cool.
BTW, listening to “Left at the Lights” right now (on after this one in iTunes) and you’ve done it brother. This piece is everything that’s right and good about your music. Congratulations!
I liked this piece Simon! This piece brighten me up while I was studying the “semiotic analysis”… haha! I’m taking the analysis class now and it’s so hard for me to like avant-garde music (or Schoenberg’s music for this matter)… am trying to break up my “western music bias” in order to appreciate the new music. Three more final projects to do and then I can go home!
