Just a reminder that I have an upcoming concert tour that is a collaboration composers and performers from the US and Korea with western and Korean tradition instruments. We’ve all been working extremely hard to subsidize our own costs of promotion and rental of space (not to mention composing and practicing), and we’re hoping to have some wonderful audiences to support our efforts.

This summer, I will be teaming up with three composers from UCSC, Daniel Brown, Young-Shin Choi, and Noah Meites, and two performers from Korea, Yusun Kim and You-Jin Chung, and putting on a series of concerts in Japan and South Korea.

Along with performances of Korean traditional music, there will be premieres of two of my pieces, “Ewha, Nabi” for stereo fixed media, soprano, and gayageum, and “five” for piri, gayageum, flugelhorn, violin, and cello.
